Pink Angel

The Pink Angel Gbead is something I hold near and dear to my heart. Most of you don’t know, but I am a breast cancer survivor. I overcame breast cancer and at first I wanted to tell the entire world I was a survivor. But I found when people knew I had breast cancer, they asked ‘How I was feeling,’ not in a positive way, but in a negative way as if I wasn’t going to survive breast cancer.
This made me uneasy and hesitant to share my story with the world. As survivors of cancer know, once you overcome such a scary and terrifying disease it’s something to celebrate and be so thankful for. But people that aren’t familiar with cancer always assume you never overcome it.
This year I decided to share my survivor story after meeting with other breast cancer survivors that were shopping at our Flagship location in the St. John’s Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Talking with them, inspired me to share with all of you that just because you had cancer you can still set out and achieve your dreams.
I wanted to have a legacy for my children and with their help, courage, strength, and unconditional support I was able to do just that by creating Original Piece. Fourth Dimension Gbeads is something that I not only designed but created to show a reminder that you are never alone no matter what you are facing.
Pink Angel is to Raise Awareness of the important of early detection of Breast Cancer. Early detection saved my life when it came to beating breast cancer. I designed Pink Angel for all women who wear this bracelet to spread facts about early detection.
Together we can conquer breast cancer.
