And I Will Call Up

It was a photo shot on an overcast day around 2:00pm, which is the worst time of day for lighting if you are a photographer. But it all worked out. This photo was shot in Southern Florida on a little island full of of limestone rock. I was vacationing down there and had heard about the “treasure island,” I knew I had to go!

My grandpa took my for the afternoon and we spent about 2 hours walking up and down the beach. It was a really special area. The waves were really high because a storm was rolling in. I don’t think you can tell by the photo, but I was actually standing on a ledge of a rock to get this shot, and when I looked down it probably was a 40 foot drop. It was shot with my Fuji XT1.
